MARS 2011 is Macedonian Radio Festival (Makedonski Radiski Festival), a music event where will be performed and elected the most popular radio hits in 2011.

This is 4th edition of MARS (stands for Makedonska Radio Selekcija (Macedonian Radio Selection)).
Over 40 Macedonian radio stations selected near 600 songs (from 100+ singers), and chose the 15 most aired songs.

Besides the performances of the 15 best Macedonian singers and acts of 2011, few other Balkan music guests will take part in the evening show.
Among the guest we'll hear: Alen Islamovic (ex singer at YU rock bands "Divlje Jagode" and "Bijelo Dugme"), and Anabela (ex singer at Serbian dance/pop duo "Funky G").

2nd place - Elena Risteska I Lambe Alabakovski - Najdobro Do Sega
3rd place - Darko Ilievski - Da Ti Bide Sram

The award for best lyrics took Ognen Nedelkovski.for Gjogo Taneski's song "Ko da ne e kraj".
Best debut award went to Orhideja Dukova.
The special award for big contribution in Macedonian music and popularization of the Macedonian music abroad was given to Karolina Gocheva.

Orbital, the British electronic dance music duo, are back on the track.
People know them as one of the biggest names in electronic music during the 1990s, but particularly for their element of live improvisation during shows.

At the end of October 2011 they (brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll) announced the return at the dance scene with the track "Never" (taken from the new forthcoming album).
